What is the difference between a Brazilian and a full Brazilian wax?

A Brazilian removes hair from the front of the bikini area and the labia; a full Brazilian adds the hair between the buttocks. It takes 30–45 minutes versus 45–60, with a price difference of IDR 30,000 (sugar) or IDR 50,000 (hard wax).

A bikini wax only removes hair outside the underwear line; a full bikini goes further but leaves a strip or triangle. First-timers often start with one of these before moving to a Brazilian.

A Brazilian doesn’t have to mean removing everything — a strip, triangle or full clearance are all standard, and the client decides. The same range and pricing apply to men’s intimate waxing.

Which types of wax does Sugarbomb use?

How do I prepare for a Brazilian wax appointment?

1. Grow the hair out. At least 0.5 cm (a grain of rice), about two to three weeks of regrowth — shorter can’t be gripped.
2. Stop shaving. It resets the cycle and makes the next appointment more painful.
3. Exfoliate two days before, not on the day itself, when skin is too sensitive.
4. Skip oils and moisturiser on the day — wax grips clean, dry skin better.
5. Avoid sun and pool beforehand. Sunburnt skin shouldn’t be waxed.
6. Wear loose clothing to reduce friction on the way home.

What should I do after a Brazilian wax?

For the first 24–48 hours: no beach, pool, hot showers or gym. Book at the start of a holiday rather than before a beach day — skin settles within a day or two, and results last three to four weeks.

From day three, gentle exfoliation two or three times a week helps prevent ingrown hairs (aggressive scrubbing doesn’t). Tight synthetic underwear and swimwear are the other common cause, so loose cotton for the first two days solves most of it.
